“Release any self-doubt you have lingering in your mind. Even the tiniest bit can have the strongest hold on you. Instead of saying, “I don’t deserve this,” say, “I do deserve this.” Instead of saying, “I can’t do this,” say, “I can do this.” When you finally change your mindset, you’ll be amazed at the amount of confidence you’ve gained.”
How many of us have felt this exact same way? I know I have and on plenty of occasions. More than I care to count. There’s always that bit of negativity weighing us down telling us we can’t or that we’re not good enough, or that there are better people suited for the job. Rather than give in to Mr. Negativity, I encourage you to stop, take a deep breath and go with it. You’ll be so glad you did! I promise.
This rule of life in my book comes at a time when I doubted my ability to speak in large groups. It wasn’t so much the speaking, but whether the audience would view me as a credible expert on the subject matter because of my young age.
